I’ve been building businesses for almost as long as I can remember.
From my early days as a teen hairstylist and years as a licensed cosmetologist in my early 20s to luxury resale in the earliest days of e-commerce (remember when we were still unsure whether or not it was safe to shop online?!?) — I’ve always found creative, ways to make a profit without compromising my principles.
I believe that Black businesses in the United States are a revolution and that in order to further our movements, we need successful, resource-rich businesses led by radical visionaries.
I’m a literary artist and lifelong ideator (Enneagram 5, Virgo Moon) who knows how to turn vision into voice and voice into impact.
I’ve sold my words, services, and digital offers for over 2 decades.
I’ve run retail businesses, worked in the apparel industry, and held a key role in operations for a global, family personal care and clean beauty brand, and built a digital marketing company that replaced my corporate 9–5 salary in 6 months.
In 2020, my audience asked for something deeper.
So I pivoted into anti-oppression education and liberation coaching and within 18 months, I had done what I do best and sent it into the stratosphere.
After five wildly successful and impactful years in that space, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots—bringing with me everything I’ve learned about sustainable growth, radical leadership, and business as a vehicle for liberation.
I created Black Liberation Business Coaching for the visionaries who are building businesses that help to radically transform the world.
