Interrupting Racism is a series of online workshops that Nikki Blak has collaborated with her best friend and founder of The Free People Project, Ebony Janice to facilitate. Interrupting Racism is a movement and a means by which freedom loving people can come together to engage in dialogue about systemic oppression, gain information about how to dismantle these systems and educate those around them, while seeking support to maintain a healthy emotional, spiritual and mental balance while engaging in activism. EbonyJanice of The Free People Projec and Nikki Blak will be discussing black women's body ownership and providing some language for discussing ways we give and take ownership of ourselves to others. Sensuality, esteem, religion, patriarchy, media... All of these topics will be addressed. We hope that you will join us then. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org
